I am currently a Teaching Assistant (Lecturer) in Asian History at Queen's University Belfast and an Occasional Lecturer in World History at National University of Ireland, Maynooth. I recently submitted my PhD dissertation at University College Dublin where I was an IRCHSS Government of Ireland Scholar. I was previously a Japan Foundation Fellow at Rikkyô University in Tokyo.

My dissertation research, conducted in archives in Washington and Tokyo, explores US-Japanese diplomatic and military relations during the tenure of Prime Minister Satô Eisaku (1964-72).
